Cool caps distributed to traffic cops
To provide relief to the traffic cops from the scorching heat in the summer, Commissioner of Police T Yoganand gifted cool caps to them. In every summer, the traffic police would face difficulties to perform their duties under the direct impact of sunlight. The present department’s helmets are not guarding them from heat.
Visakhapatnam: To provide relief to the traffic cops from the scorching heat in the summer, Commissioner of Police T Yoganand gifted cool caps to them. As many as 300 cool caps were distributed to the traffic police at a special programme organised on Monday. The cap helps the traffic cops to protect them from the scorching temperature and prevent the dandruff caused due to the existing department’s helmets.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) K Ramesh Kumar, the cool caps would also help the traffic men from the impact of the humidity. The department is also planning to supply drinking water and butter milk to the traffic police.
The officials are planning depute a vehicle to supply the drinking water and butter milk to distribute directly to the men engaged in the traffic duties in the summer, the ADCP said.
