YSRCP claims credit for taming TDP again
The YSRCP on Friday took credit for bringing the No Confidence Motion and said that it has succeeded in uniting all the Opposition parties against the BJP.
Hyderabad: The YSRCP on Friday took credit for bringing the No Confidence Motion and said that it has succeeded in uniting all the Opposition parties against the BJP. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tweeted:"Even if guided by political compulsion, TDP had to yet again follow YSRCP's lead of moving no confidence motion against the central government." "After 4 years of relentless struggle and fight by YSRCP with people's support for Special Category Status; finally the nation, including Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP wakes up!", added YS Jagan.
"For YSRCP, interest of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and its people is paramount, and above any political (one) up-manship. Even if YSRCP moved the no- confidence motion first, it's immaterial. What matters is that the rights of the people of AP is ensured and the state gets the SCS (special category status)!' tweeted Reddy.
The YSRCP has tabled a No Confidence Motion against the BJP-led NDA Government on Thursday. The TDP, an NDA alliance partner, has also backed it.
