Collector Hari Jawaharlal paid a visit to a remote and hilltop village Mantra Jola in Gumma Lakshmi Puram mandal on Wednesday. He trekked hilltop reach the remote village and interacted with locals and enquired about the implementation of welfare schemes. 

GL Puram (Vizianagaram): Collector Hari Jawaharlal paid a visit to a remote and hilltop village Mantra Jola in Gumma Lakshmi Puram mandal on Wednesday. He trekked hilltop reach the remote village and interacted with locals and enquired about the implementation of welfare schemes.

Hari Jawaharlal said that Mantrajola village resembles his native village Pedda Bidika tanda and assured that he would support Mantrajola. He inspected gravel road and assured that he would sanction funds to lay cement road. "The government will provide water plant to the village and provide pure drinking water. Buildings for primary school and Anganwadi Centre would be sanctioned”, he assured.

He directed Velugu staff to prepare plans to improve the income of the locals. Earlier, locals accorded him a warm welcome upon his arrival at the village. He advised the people to avail the welfare scheme. Project officer of Parvathipuram ITDA G Lakshmisha, RDO K Sudarshan Dora and others accompanied the Collector.
