Guntur: Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu has said that the government will take up development activities in Manyam and construct Alluri Sitarama Raju museum in Vizag.
He garlanded the statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju on the occasion of his birth anniversary in Gunturon Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he reminded that how Alluri Sitarama Raju fought against the British rule to solve problems of Manyam people.
Alluri had involved tribals in the fight against British government. He said the Alluri brought name and fame to Telugus. He urged the youth draw inspiration from Alluri Sitarama Raju who sacrificed his life for country.
He further said that the government was celebrating Alluri Sitarama Raju birth anniversary in all districts in the state.
