Vijayawada: Noted astrologer from city Dr Bhima Sambasiva Rao, was honoured by Telugu Samkshema Sangham at Perambur, Chennai and awarded ‘Telugu Velugu’ title for his meritorious service for Telugu language development and knowledge in astrology and Vastu.
He was the first to get doctorate in Jyothishyam from Telugu University. More than 70 articles penned by him were published in leading magazines.
He wrote and published four books in Telugu and bagged appreciation. He worked as lecturer in Telugu University and was a teacher of astrology for the past 30 years. He is a senior Pundit in Vastu and Jyothisham.
