Kakinada: As part of special drive on sanitation, Mayor Sunkara Pavani inspected drainage and sanitation in 34th division here on Friday.
The mayor along with sanitary staff visited Bank Peta area in the division, which has narrow lanes and by-lanes in most of the area.
The mayor interacted with locals and inspected the drainage system in the area. She directed sanitary staff to de-silt of drains and lift garbage everyday without fail.
She asked the supervisory staff to report on sanitation measures taken up in the area on day to day basis.
34th division corporator and corporation sanitation staff accompanied the mayor during the visit.
