Rajamahendravaram: Various cultural programmes conducted at Pushkar Ghat in connection with Happy Sunday enthralled the audience. A programme was performed about the disadvantages of plastic usage.

Students of Nagaraka Primary School and Alcot Garens Primary School gave the performance against the usage of plastic. The folk dances, group and solo dances, songs, skits etc also impressed the audience.

Later, RMC Commissioner Sumit Kumar appealed to the people to extend their cooperation to plastic ban which would be implemented from August 15. The corporation was arranging awareness programme on plastic ban in the city.

Alliance Club of International also arranged blood donation camp.

Corporator ISR Murthi, corporation manager Srinivas, MEPMA officer Joga Rao, school supervisor PD Prasad and others were present. The Commissioner also visited the stalls arranged by MEPMA.
