Youth felicitate Minister Siddha Raghavarao for dole
Minister Siddha Raghavarao asked the youth to support the Telugu Desam Party TDP government and its welfare programmes in the State
Ongole: Minister Siddha Raghavarao asked the youth to support the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government and its welfare programmes in the State.
The Minister and his son Sudheer were felicitated by the youth from the Darsi Assembly constituency in connection with the government introducing the unemployment allowance, at his residence in Ongole on Sunday.
Speaking to the youth, the Minister said that the chief minister had taken a decision in the cabinet meeting to provide the unemployment allowance of Rs 1000 to all qualified youth in the State and the youth were appreciating the Chief Minister and Cabinet Ministers for taking the decision.
He said that the government had taken bold decision though the State was suffering with financial crisis.
He said that the youth can do anything if they wanted to and requested them to support the TDP government in future. He said that the Chief Minister was giving top priority to the irrigation and drinking water projects and also giving importance to the education sector.
He said that the government had allocated Rs 24,000 crore for improving education standards in the State and makes it as an educational hub.
Later, Raghavarao and Sudheer cut a cake to mark the introduction of the Mukhyamantri Yuvanestam scheme. The CBN Army representative Hari Kishore, media coordinator for Darsi TDP Sagar, Palam Anjireddy, Navuluri Sai and other students participated in the programme.
