Ongole: District Collector Vadarevu Vinay Chand ordered the Panchayat Raj department officials to complete the construction of Anganwadi buildings, BT roads, CC roads as soon as possible.
The Collector reviewed the status of various works taken up by the Panchayat Raj engineering department on Friday.
He said that the chief minister provided budget and wants to complete the Anganwadi buildings, which are useful to the women and children.
He ordered the DEs and AEs of the department to complete them without any delay. He ordered the officials to continue the construction of CC and BT roads in the district that were sanctioned, started and held for different reasons.
He ordered the officials to submit a status report on the construction of Anganwadi buildings. He ordered the officials to discuss on the pending works of the buildings and roads and coordinate works with the other officials.
He also asked them to provide drinking water, electricity, toilets to the completed Anganwadis without fail. He ordered the PR SE to coordinate with the other department officials to finish the works.
PR SE Raghu, MEPMA PD Venkateswarlu, CPO Venkateswarlu, retired CPO Venkaiah, panchayat raj DEs and EEs also participated in the meeting.
