Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat here on Saturday called upon the Swayam Sevaks to mingle with all sections of people and increase the service activities to reach every nook and corner. Bhagwat stressed the importance of the Swayam Sevaks’ role in building a healthy society. He also called upon them to unite Hindus and work for the country’s overall benefits.
The RSS chief is currently on a tour of the south region (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) to strengthen the Sangh activities. As part of the programme, Greater Visakhapatnam RSS Swayam Sevaks Sammelan was held here on Saturday. The administration wing of the Sangh made strict rules and guidelines for the Swayam Sevaks to attend the meeting. Only those Sevaks who attended the Sangh office at least 10 days in a month were allowed to take part in the meeting.
Following the rule, only 1,440 Swayam Sevaks secured entry for the Sammelan. The administration also allowed 100 special guests. While addressing the Swayam Sevaks, Mohan Bhawat explained how to strengthen the Sangh in Visakhapatnam. He asked them to increase the service activities to the society, strengthen the ethical values, Sakah’s activities. He said that most importantly, they should attend to the Sakha office regularly. Every ‘swayam sevak’ should work to drawn the attention of the society ensuring has to admire with the ideology of the Sangh,” Mohan Bhagavat said.
He said every Swayam Sevak should strive hard to promote the ideology of Sangh and attract the attention of society. Earlier, Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the Bharatiya Vidya Kendra (BVK) administrative building located at Sampath Vinayagar temple in the city. RSS South Region Pracharak Nagaraju, Maha Nagar Sangh Sanchalak and Principal of AU Science College Prof Avadhani and noted doctor and Visakha Vibhag Sangh Sanchalak M.Vijaya Gopal and Dr Ramprasad were also present.
