Sir CR Reddy college students score medals in swimming
Two students of Sir CR Reddy Autonomous College excelled in sports during recent swimming competitions
Eluru: Two students of Sir CR Reddy Autonomous College excelled in sports during recent swimming competitions.
According to the college in-charge principal, Rambabu, a senior Intermediate student Koyya Vijaya Ram Kishore won silver and bronze medals in 2018 AP Sr Inter-district Aquatic Championship.
The student stood second in 200 metre individual medley relay swimming competition held in Vijayawada.
He also bagged bronze medal in 100 metre butterfly swimming contest. The winner has said winning a medal for India in international sports is his goal.
Another senior Intermediate student of the college, Seera Ganesh secured bronze medal in under-18 medley relay of 2018 AP Junior Inter-district Athletic Championship held at Acharya Nagarjuna University.
The college correspondent, US Ramaprasad appreciated Ganesh and Ram Kishore for their achievement.
He handed over the prizes to encourage them and announced that the college management would extend financial help needed by them to participant many more competitions.
He said the college had been striving to create sports talent apart from regular studies.
The college physical director, Bapuji, lecturer Dr K Ravi and others were present.
