Rampachodavaram: He is an IAS officer who prefers simplicity, mingles with the people and goes to the field visits, instead of sitting in his air-condition room. Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer Nishant Kumar cleaned the toilets and took lunch with the students in Tribal Welfare Boys Residential School in Kottada village of Rampachodavaram mandal here on Thursday.
Immediately after entering into the school Nishant Kumar inspected class rooms, kitchen and toilets and expressed unhappiness over their maintenance. Later, he took the broom and cleaned the toilets giving an inspiration to the students as well to the teaching and non-teaching staff. He enquired the students whether the officials are supplying food as per menu or not and asked them whether they are getting chicken twice in a week.
