Vijayawada: The workers of Autonagar and other areas of Vijayawada voluntarily came forward to contribute donations and help the flood victims of Kerala by the call given by CPI Vijayawada city committee members.
The members of the Autonagar workers headed by Lanka Durga Rao, B Trimurthulu and S Sridhar collected an amount of Rs 13,000 and handed over to the CPI state leaders at Dasari Bhavan here on Sunday.
City leaders G Koteswara Rao, P Surya Rao, Ch Srinivas and others were present.
