Teachers role models to society: JEO P Bhaskar

Tirupati: By giving the nation, the future citizens of the country by impartingvalue-based education, teachers are often described and revered as role models for a healthy society, said TTD JEO P Bhaskar.Addressing the special programme organised on the occasion of Teachers' Day atMahati Auditorium here on Wednesday,the JEO said, the life of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, aptly suits fora role model teacher.

Born in an ordinary family, he became the Vice-President of India by the way of his hard work. That is why eventoday his birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day, he added.
