Guntur team bag winners trophy at Kotappakonda
The teams of Guntur School Games Federation bagged the boys and girls winners trophy in the AP State SGF CM Cup under 17 years Kabaddi Championship held at Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Zilla Parishad High School at Kotappakonda in Guntur district on Wednesday
Guntur: The teams of Guntur School Games Federation bagged the boys and girls winners trophy in the AP State SGF & CM Cup under - 17 years Kabaddi Championship held at Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Zilla Parishad High School at Kotappakonda in Guntur district on Wednesday.
The boys Guntur district team defeated Kurnool team with 43-24 and bagged the the winners trophy.
Kurnool district team bagged the runners cup. West Godavari got the third position.
In girls category, Guntur defeated Prakasam (32-14) and won the winners cup followed by the Prakasam and Srikakulam.
Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao SAAP chairman Dr P Ankamma Chowdary, AP PETs Assn president Kareemullah Chowdary, District SGF Y Chiranjeevi distributed prizes to the winners.
The tournament organising secretary Chinnaramaiah and M Subba Rao were among those present.
