APSRTC to operate 1,265 special buses for Dasara
Executive Director Operations G JayaRao said in a statement on Wednesday said that APSRTC would operate about 1,265 special buses from Hyderabad to major cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh for the convenience of the passenger of festival pilgrimages and educational institutions during Dasara festival time
Vijayawada: Executive Director (Operations) G JayaRao said in a statement on Wednesday said that APSRTC would operate about 1,265 special buses from Hyderabad to major cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh for the convenience of the passenger of festival pilgrimages and educational institutions during Dasara festival time.
He said that these special buses would run from October 12 to 20. On 12th, 176 buses will be operated to various cities and towns in AP, on 13th, 80 busses, 14th, 28 busses, 15th, 41 busses, 16th, 513 busses, 17th, 349 busses, 18th, 30 busses and on October 19 and 20 busses will be operated as per the passengers rush, said RayaRao.
He said that on the festival days on 16 and 17 maximum number of busses will be operated by the APSRTC for the convenience of the passengers.
A total number of 285 busses to Viujayawada, 207 busses to Guntur, 173 busses to Ongole and 168 busses to Kurnool will be operated, said Rao.
