Ongole: The Ongole MLA, Damcharla Janardhana Rao inaugurated an open gym established with the municipal corporation funds at the park in Bhagyanagar Colony on Friday.
The Ongole Municipal Commissioner, Sankranti Venkata Krishna, municipal engineer Sundararami Reddy and other officers and TDP leaders also participated in the programme.
After working out on few instruments, Janardhana Rao said that it was the second open gym installed in the public parks in the town to help the public inculcate healthy lifestyle.
He said that healthy families help the development of the town and asked the public to utilize the open gym installed near their door fronts to keep the body healthy and mind peaceful.
