Minister reviews canal laying works
Minister for Child Welfare and ICDS Paritala Sunitha has visited Perur to review canal works for facilitating the free flow of Krishna water from Jeedipalle reservoir to Perur dam
Perur (Anantapur): Minister for Child Welfare and ICDS Paritala Sunitha has visited Perur to review canal works for facilitating the free flow of Krishna water from Jeedipalle reservoir to Perur dam.
The canal is named after late Paritala Ravindra, who had been demanding Krishna water to Perur mandal. She visited Goridundla village where works are going on. In 25 days, the 4 km-long canal had been completed. Blasting works has caused some delay in the canal works.
The Minister said that she would see that the canal is completed within the scheduled time. She thanked the farmers for coming forward to give their lands to the canal construction. Sunitha said that it was the farmers dream to see Krishna water in their region. She assured farmers of early compensation payment.
