A visually challenged student Sai Vinayak of Andhra Loyola College ALC received Pratibha Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh at a function held on October 15

Vijayawada: A visually challenged student Sai Vinayak of Andhra Loyola College (ALC) received Pratibha Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh at a function held on October 15.

He secured 886 marks in Intermediate examinations and was adjudged as the topper among the visually challenged students in the State.

He is pursuing first year Bachelor of Arts in English literature. He would like to become an IAS officer in future, said HEPSN project of ALC, Dr Sahaya Baskaran on Tuesday.

Sai Vinayak thanked the management of the college and the student volunteers of the college for extending their support to him as scribes during examinations and also for providing computer training.

The college principal Fr Kishore, vice-principals Fr Melchior, Fr Rex Angelo and the coordinator of the HEPSN project in ALC Dr Sahaya Baskaran congratulated Sai Vinayak on achieving the feat.
