Eluru: HELP, an NGO leading deliberations with the administration of four districts-- Ananthapur, Kadapa, Guntur and West Godavari-- to adopt zero tolerance approach towards men who serially rape children in exchange of money, convened a consultative meeting here on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Ram Mohan Nimmaraju, Secretary, HELP, T Srinivas, Regional Joint Director, Women and Child Development, Vijaya Kumari, Director, Women and Child Development and others.
The deliberations also saw survivors from VIMUKHTI collective urging the district officials to arrest men who sexually exploit children, thus wanting a change in the approach of the forces of law that often victimise the child sex workers, while the customer goes scot-free.
