Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has chosen new way to know the problems of people. He traveled on Janmabhoomi Express from Vijayawada to Tuni on Friday. He reached Vijayawada Railway station along with former Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
A huge number of fan followers also reached the railway station to welcome and send him off. They displayed placards and party flags. On this occasion, the licensed porters felicitated him. Later, Pawan Kalyan reached platform No 7 along with the supporters.
The fans of Pawan Kalyan raised slogans in support of him. He traveled in the AC chair car. During his journey from Vijayawada to Nuzvid, he interacted with the railway porters.
They submitted a memorandum to him stating that 148 porters were working in the railway station and they were not getting work due to the modernisation of the Railways. They said that the government should recognise them as Group-D employees.
