Srikakulam: The district has all resources like human and natural but lacks its proper utilisation as a result people are still in backward area, said Pulsus and Omics organisations CEO Dr Srinu Babu Gedela.
He released a poster and inaugurated a vehicle for Srikakulam Employment Generation and Learning Foundation (SELF) at Subadhrapuram in Laveru mandal on Saturday.
The SELF was established by Forum for Better Srikakulam (FBS) founder president and vice-president Gondyala Durga Prasad and Badana Devabhushan Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinu Babu said that they were planning to study employment opportunities and available resources in coming 45 days and involve all students of degree, PG, professional colleges across the district.
“We are going to establish eco-friendly, food-based and aqua-based industries in Srikakulam to arrest migrations from the district,” he said.
Srinu Babu pointed out that leaders and business persons from other districts are exploiting natural resources here and as a result people are going to other places.
Later Srinu Babu delivered a lecture at Gurajada Educational Society and cleared the doubts of students regarding employment opportunities in all fields and importance of natural resources here.
