Vijayawada: Jana Sena leader and former Speaker Nadendla Manohar said that Jana Sena would organise a massive Kavathu at Anantapur on December 2 to showcase its strength in the heart of Rayalaseema. In this connection, Nadendla Manohar, along with other Jana Sena leaders Vijaya Babu and Addepalli Sridhar, released posters for the massive public meeting.
Addressing the media, Manohar described the conduct of Kavathu as a new trend. He recalled that during the Kavathu on Dhowleswaram Barrage, several people brought out their problems and about the prevalence of rampant corruption in the government to the notice of Jana Sena supremo Pawan Kalyan.
The march past at Anantapur will be a struggle against the drought condition in the Rayalaseema and the government’s inaction, he said. The Kavathu will start at Guthi Cross Road and culminate in a meeting at the Clock Tower in Anantapur town on December 2.
The Jana Sena will highlight the problems of the farmers and the students, he said. He appealed to the Jana Sainiks to participate in large number in the Kavathu.
