Major General N Srinivasa Rao inspects Army canteen, polyclinic
The army is working to provide good service to the families of exservicemen, announced Major General N Srinivasa Rao He inspected the army canteen and ECHS polyclinic in Giddalur on Saturday and interacted with the local exservicemen Srinivasa Rao said that army provides all facilities to the personnel when they join it and provides canteen and health services after their retirement
Giddalur: The army is working to provide good service to the families of ex-servicemen, announced Major General N Srinivasa Rao. He inspected the army canteen and ECHS polyclinic in Giddalur on Saturday and interacted with the local ex-servicemen. Srinivasa Rao said that army provides all facilities to the personnel when they join it and provides canteen and health services after their retirement.
He enquired the retired army personnel about the facilities and asked about the services should be upgraded or newly introduced in Giddalur. Ex-servicemen district president Captain GC Ankanna requested the major general to establish a NCC unit and Central school. He also requested the officer to upgrade the canteen and provide extra counter and increase number of staff . Srinivasa Rao advised the canteen manager Captain Manne Chennaiah about the initiatives required for the canteen. Local CI V Sriram, SI Komara Mallikharjuna paid a cordial visit to the major general .
