Prakasam DMHO flags off new 108 ambulances
The Prakasam district medical and health officer Dr S Rajyalakshmi flagged off the three new 108 ambulances at the district collectorate here on Wednesday The DMHO said that there are already 32 ambulances 108 working in the district and three vehicles are added to the fleet now
Ongole: The Prakasam district medical and health officer Dr S Rajyalakshmi flagged off the three new 108 ambulances at the district collectorate here on Wednesday. The DMHO said that there are already 32 ambulances (108) working in the district and three vehicles are added to the fleet now.
She advised the public to best utilize the 35 ambulances in their emergency. She asked them to call 108 for help in their emergencies like involvement in accidents, to shift pregnant women to the hospital in delivery and other incidents to shift the victims to the hospital.
She advised the medical and health officials and staff, ASHA, Aanganwadi workers to create awareness on the use of 108 ambulances in rural public in various events being taken up by the department.The 108 services district manager J Balaji, district epidemiologist Dr Pullareddy and other officials also participated in the programme.
