Tirupati: The grand procession of Lakshmi Kasula Haram, the priceless ornament which adorns the Moola Virat, Tirumala presiding deity Lord Venkateswara was brought to Tiruchanur on Saturday and will be decorated to Goddess during Gaja Vahana Seva in the evening.

Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar received the jewel at a distance in Tiruchanur from Tirumala temple Deputy EO Harindranath and handed it over to the EO Anil Kumar Singhal outside Tiruchanur temple who in turn handed it over to the Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple officials at the Pasupu mandapam.

The ornament was placed before presiding deity and was offered special pujas. Speaking on the occasion, the EO Singhal said following the age-old temple tradition the priceless jewellery of Srivari temple will be adorned to the Goddess Padmavati during the unique Gaja Vahana and Garuda Vahana sevas during the ongoing Karthika Barhmotsavams.

Among others, CVSO Gopinath Jetty, Temple Deputy EO Jhansi Rani and VGO Ashok Kumar Goud were also present.
