Chittoor: Kanipakam temple Trust Board chairman V Surendrababu ( Mani Naidu) stated that Anna Prasadam (free meal) to about 5,000 pilgims per day will be implemented at the temple in due course as per the directions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. For the convenience of devotees who visit the temple by evening hours , free tiffin will be offered at the Annadana Nilayam at night also.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Mani Naidu said that it was decided to organise Dial Your Chairman, Kanipakam temple programme on every Monday to receive suggestions from devotees for the development of the temple. ``The devotees are requested to dial the phone no . 08573281044/ 9440931660 between 9.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m on Mondays. The grievances of the devotees will be resolved, he said. He complimented that former MLA G Aruna Kumari had shown interest to develop the temple.

The chairman further said that a proposal was submitted to the Government for filling the Public Relation officer post at the temple. He said that the trust board has decided to organise “ Pavithrotsavams to Lord Ganesh at the temple every year after annual Brahmotsavams of Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy.

We have proposed to construct the queue lines for the convenience of devotees in the temple following the guidelines of TTD. Laddu Pottu building will be built shortly with an out lay of Rs.25 crore and Kanipakam temple will be made plastic free like Tirumala soon. The annual income of the temple has crossed over Rs.25 cr. ” he added. Trust Board Member Narasimha Naidu and others were present.
