Vijayawada: Minister for Skill Development, Law, Justice, Youth Services and Sports Kollu Ravindra and France Ambassador to India Alexandre Ziegler on Monday inaugurated the 3D Experience Mother Hub Centre jointly established by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Dassault Systems at Acharya Nagarjuna Univeristy (ANU). State-of-the-art classrooms, conference room, maker space and 3D auditorium have been inaugurated at ANU.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said APSSDC in collaboration with the forerunner in 3D technology, Dassault Systems, is offering training for engineering and polytechnic students with state-of-the-art infrastructure in automotive, aerospace, marine and off-shore domains.

He said with the pro-activeness of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu several corporate companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Siemens were already imparting quality training to the youth of AP. APSSDC is imparting quality skill development training in schools and degree, polytechnic and engineering colleges along with special placement-linked training to the unemployed youth.

The Minister said the government was also making efforts to establish investment-linkages to the innovators of AP, and appealed to the youth to make best use of the same. He later released the poster ‘Go to Market in 100 Days,’ a unique competition, in which all students who design a go-to-market product using the facilities available in Dassault 3D Experience Centre will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

Special Chief Secretary J S V Prasad, Dr Kritika Shukla, MD and CEO of APSSDC, Special Secretary Dr Ghanta Subba Rao, Samson Khaou, MD and CEO of Dassault Systems India, and others were present on the occasion.
