Ongole: Minister Siddha Raghavarao ordered the district administration to make foolproof arrangements for the Gnanabheri programme in which Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is participating on December 12.
The minister visited the meeting place beside Siri Hospital and enquired about the arrangements for the stalls, registration kiosks, lunch sheds, foundation and opening plaques for the university and mini stadium, entry and exit roads for the chief minister and ordered the Collector V Vinay Chand and other officials to complete the pending works immediately.
He said that the chief minister participated in four Gnanabheri meetings so far and the Ongole meeting will be the fifth. He ordered the SP BS Yesubabu to tighten the security and see no unwanted situations arise during the CM tour.
The local MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, RDO Penchala Kishore, R and B SE Sivaprasad Reddy, Social Welfare DD Lakshmi Sudha, SC Corporation ED K Krishnaveni, municipal commissioner S Venkata Krishna and other officials also present during the minister visit.
