Tiruchanur: On the penultimate day of the ongoing Karthika Brahmotsavams in Tiruchanur, Sri Padmavathi Devi who is worshipped here as Sarva Swatantra Veera Lakshmi, took out a pride ride on the gigantic wooden chariot on Tuesday morning.

Radhotsavam is yet another important fete during the Karthika Brahmotsavams of Ammavaru. The procession commenced in the auspicious Vrischika Lagnam at 8.15 am. The streets in Tiruchanur were flooded with devotees as it is during this festival the denizens get an opportunity to pull the chariot. Goddess in all Her divine splendour was draped in pearl studded saree and embellishments to showcase her grandeur.

The devotees were captivated by the elegance of Goddess seated atop the finely decked wooden chariot. TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, ACVSO Sivakumar Reddy, Dy EO Jhansi Rani, AEO Subramanyam and others were present.
