Bhimadole: Sugarcane farmers under the auspices of Andhra Pradesh Rytu Sangham staged ‘rasta roko’ in front of Andhra Sugar Factory here on Tuesday.
The farmers demanded a price of Rs 3,500 per tonne of sugarcane produce. Earlier, the famrers organised a bike rally from Bhimadole junction to sugar factory.
AP Rytu Sangham state president Y Kesava Rao and others participated in the agitation.
