Ongole: The office of the inspector general of police for south coastal zone announced that the arrangements for the preliminary written test for the men and women Civil SIs and armed reserve RSIs in the police department, men and women deputy jailors in the Prisons and Correctional Services Department and men station fire officers in Andhra Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services department, scheduled by the Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board on Sunday, are complete.

The IG KVV Gopala Rao said in a statement that about 26,746 candidates from the Prakasam, Guntur and Nellore have registered for the exam. He said that these candidates must report at their respective exam center in the 48 centers allocated in Guntur between 08.30AM to 09.30 AM.

He said that the Paper 1 will be held from 10.00AM to 01.00PM while the Paper 2 is from 2.30PM to 5.30PM. He advised the candidates to be early at the exam center as there will be thorough security checks and frisking the candidates by the authorities and they should validate biometric attendance and fill pre-exam forms in the hall.

He asked the candidates to visit their exam hall, one day before to have an idea about the route to avoid confusion in the last minute, as they will not allow the candidates after 10.00AM.

The ID said that the candidates are permitted to carry only blue or black ball point pen, hall ticket and original photo identity card like aadhaar, PAN card and asked to not bring any electronic gadgets including mobile phones, calculators and smart watches.

He said that they fixed CC cameras in all exam halls and will initiate criminal action against candidates resorting to malpractice and may ban them for appearing future recruitments by SLPRB and other public service commissions in the country.

He announced that the candidates can download their hall ticjkets from the website www.slprb.ap.gov.in till December 14.
