Guntur: The APSRTC will operate 1,000 buses to various Saiva Kshetras in the district on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri. The APSRTC Guntur region officials planned to operate 450 special buses to Kotappakonda from Chilakaluripet and Narasaraopet depos for the convenience of devotees. Depending upon the rush of the passengers, they will ply buses to Kotappakonda festivities.

APSRTC Guntur regional manager Sumanth held a meeting with the officials at NTR Bus Stand in Guntur city on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that they will operate buses based on the demand. He added the RTC will operate special buses to Srisailam, Amravati, Satrasala, Dwaida and other Saiva kshetras.
