Vizianagaram: M Srinivasarao, district coordinator of YSRCP, and leaders P Appala Naidu and others were taken into custody and sent to Jami police station.

Actually, the YSRCP leaders obstructed members of a youth group which was roaming in Pusapatirega mandal and inquired to whom they are going to vote.

The YSRCP leaders are suspecting and alleging that the group is removing the votes from the voters’ list to help the ruling party in the State. The leaders allegedly detained members of the youth group and grabbed their devices like tabs and mobiles.

Later, they took the youth to the local police station and lodged a complaint. However, the youth were set free by the police. The YSRCP leaders were taken into custody by police for detaining the youth. Later, they were also released by the police.
