Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna has said that the GUDA is keen in taking up development activities under its purview in the East Godavari district.
Inaugurating a permanent shed at Somalamma temple here on Sunday, he said the shed was constructed on a permanent basis for the benefit of the devotees, who can take shelter under it, especially during heavy rains.
GUDA spent an amount of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of the shed, he informed. GUDA was ready to take up development works for the people, he added.
Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary, Mayor PRS Sai, MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, TDP leaders R Mani, K Naveen Kumar, YVG Raidu and others were present.
