Kakinada: On the occasion of World Wetlands Day on February 2, painting competition was organised for school children by AP National Green Core organization here on Thursday.
A total of 145 children from 16 schools participated in the painting competitions organized at Sri Ramakrishna Public School here.
The school children painted for protection of Mada forests. They gave top priority for environment protection. Many paintings were thought-provoking for many who witnessed the paintings.
Drawing teacher Murty Babu supervised the conduct of the painting competition.
