Amaravati: Minister Kala Venkata Rao on Saturday said that the Government has given its nod for filling vacant Assistant Engineer posts in the electrical department.
He said that the Government was planning to fill all the vacant posts in every department of the state government. He said the notifications for the posts of assistant engineers in AP Transco, AP USPDCL, AP EPDCL and other wings have been issued on Friday.
He said there were 206posts in all of which 171 posts are in AP Transco, 20 in AP SPDCL and 15 in AP EPDCL. He said these vacancies arose because of the growing needs of the power consumers and projects taken up by the department.
