Guntur: Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao inaugurated the new houses constructed under the NTR Housing Scheme in Narasaraopet town on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was committed to the welfare of poor and added that the government was ready to sanction houses to all eligible under the NTR Housing Scheme.
In Chilakaluripet town, Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao participated in the massive house warming ceremony. On the occasion, he said the government will sanction houses to all eligible and urged them to avail the facility.
In a statement, Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation Project Director S Nagasiva Rao said so far gruhapravesams conducted to 58,552 houses in the district in three phases.
In the first phase, gruhapravesam conducted to 9,969 houses, in the second phase 24,767 houses, in third phase 23,816 houses.
Meanwhile in Guntur city, over 23,816 NTR Houses Gruhapravesams conducted on Sunday.
