Machilipatnam: Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment Board organised a police constable physical fitness test on the fourth consecutive day at Machilipatnam police parade grounds on Tuesday.
According to the police officials, out of 1000 eligible candidates, only 715 candidates attended the physical fitness test.
Among them 523 got eligibility for the next level. They conducted long jump and 1600 and 100 meters running as part of the physical fitness test. Later, the eligible candidates who cleared all the rounds up to now were awarded a certificate.
Krishna District Superintendent of Police Sarvashresta Tripathi said that they had conducted the physical fitness test safely without any problems.
“We arranged a DSP and SI level officer at every event to monitor for conducting the test in a proper manner without any problems,” he added.
