CRPF 234th Battalion condemns Pulwama terrorist attack
The 234th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force CRPF has paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack by observing two minutes silence at its Battalion Headquarters, District Training Centre DTC near Bakkannapalem here on Friday
Visakhapatnam: The 234th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack by observing two minutes silence at its Battalion Headquarters, District Training Centre (DTC) near Bakkannapalem here on Friday.
Speaking to media, Commandant of Battalion R S Balapurkar said, “We salute our martyrs of Pulwama attack and stand with the families of martyr brothers. This heinous attack will be avenged. This sort of cowardice attacks can’t jerk us, but even makes us more determined to fight the enemies of our country. All the force and people of the country stand by the families of martyrs.”
Second-in-command Naresh Kumar Yadav said, “We have been part of police and army, but very few people were aware of CRPF full form.
Our services were extended from Jammu and Kashmir to other eastern parts of nation and we took part along with police in counter operations at Agency areas and election duties in various states.
We have been striving hard through various programmes to instill patriotism among the civilians. Their support and faith give us energy to fight for the country.”
Kasam Khan, second-in-command, said such attacks cannot affect the morale of troops. Meanwhile some of the students and other organisations carried out candle rallies paying tributes to the martyrs.
