Vijayawada: Members of Ganapathi Mahothsava Committee (GMC), Arundalpet here on Sunday organised a protest rally against the terrorist attack on CRPF Jawans in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on February 14.
Paying tributes to the martyred CRPF Jawans, the GMC members carried a 30- feet long Tricolour from Arandalpet to Lenin Centre here. They raised slogans ‘Johar Amara Jawanlaku’, ‘Pakistan Murdabad’.
Speaking to the media, GMC president Jonnalagadda Satyanarayana said that it was a cruel and brutal attack by the terrorists on the CRPF Jawans and the GMC strongly condemn the attack.
GMC secretary Sriramachandrudu, vice-president Padmakar, joint secretary Hari Babu and others were present.
