Guntur: Two persons died of electric shock in Dachepalli on Monday. According to the police, M Mallikarjuna Rao, 25, who hailed from Mutyalapadu village went to temple installation programme at Madeswara Swamy temple at Dachepalli in Guntur district.
After completion of lunch, he went to Nagaleruvagu stream behind the temple for washing his hands. While washing his hands, he accidentally he came into contact with a live wire and he fell in stream. Another deceased Bimhavarapu Srinivasa Rao, who noticed Mallikarjuna Rao, tried to rescue him but both were died of electric shock. Dachepalli police registered a case.
