Jyothi murder: Police arrest Chenchu Srinu, Pawan

Guntur: Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao said that Chenchu Srinu, the prime accused in Angadi Jyothi murder case, eliminated her when she mounted pressure on him to marry her.
The police arrested Chenu Srininu and another accused Pavan and produced them before media in Mangalagiri on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Vijaya Rao said that when the deceased Jyothi pressed Chenchu Srinu to marry her, he planned to kill her and took cooperation of Pawan, who works with him.
He said when Jyothi and Chenchu Srinu met at International Cricket Stadium at Navaluru, Pawan attacked them and hit Jyothi with an iron road who died on the spot. The SP said later Pawan hit Chenchu Srinu to divert attention of police.
He said the police will produce both accused before the court and added they have opened rowdy sheet against Chenchu Srinu and Pawan.
