Six Mee Seva DEOs suspended

Kakinada: Collector Karthikeya Mishra on Thursday said that six operators of Mee Seva in Kakinada, who have taken up bulk enrolment of voters, were kept under suspension pending enquiry.

Speaking to reporters at media facilitation centre at collectorate, he said that some mischievous people were applying in form 7 for deletions or form 6 for additions in the name of voters list enmass by online method without the consent and knowledge of voters concerned. “This is illegal and punishable under Sec 31 of Representation of People Act 1950,” Mishra said.
