Vijayawada: To bring out hidden talent from kids apart from academics and to inculcate traditional values D la Valentina, a traditional fashion show was organised here on Sunday.
International Kids Pageants national director Valentina Mishra told ‘The Hans India’ that two kids, one from Vijayawada and the other from Visakhapatnam have been selected for the international fashion show.
N Yashaswi Sai (8) from Vijayawada performed well and was selected to represent India in the Little category at the ‘Little Miss Galaxy Contest’ which will be held from March 16 to 23 in Bulgaria.
Aditya Vasudeva (12) was selected and he will represent the country in the Pre-teen category at the ‘Best Prince of the World’ which is scheduled to be held from April 23 to 28 in Georgia, she said and added that a three-day grooming was organised for the eight contestants who were selected earlier at the auditions held in February.
She said that the selected kids were trained in Personality development, Etiquettes, Talent, Catwalk and Communication skills.
They were also introduced to Oral care and hygiene by Dr Kavya and Dr Madhu. A photo shoot was also undertaken for all the children to showcase their style quotient.
Mementos and certificate of participation were given to them.
