Tata Motors and Campus Diaries, a leading discovery and collaboration platform for youth on Thursday launched GenX Nano Campus Diaries 25 Under 25, powered by VH1, the biggest hunt for India’s brightest stars under the age of 25. 25 Under 25 aims to become the definitive community of the most talented young changemakers of India.
The 25 Under 25 Awards is the first formal recognition programme that targets the Indian youth across four professional categories - Science and Tech, Art and Design, Photography and Writing. An esteemed panel of jury and mentors will select the finalists in each category. “This program is not just about honoring a new generation of leaders; it is also about shining a spotlight on the economic, social and community impact of India’s youth. All it takes is belief, vision and a resourceful use of talent,” says Sumit Saurav, CEO Campus Diaries, urging India’s young adults to step up and rise to the challenge.
“We are delighted that we are associating with Campus Diaries for yet another unique platform for the youth. The Nano has been a path-breaking innovation and in many ways, a game-changer. Brand Nano has been at the center of many associations with the youth of this country. With 25 UNDER 25 we want to provide a platform for the undiscovered talent and hope to recognise and empower India’s best 25 change makers below the age of 25”, said Delna Avari, Head - Marketing Communication and Services, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors.
The awards programme will culminate in the 25 Under 25 Summit, where the winners will get a chance to meet Noah Rosenberg (Founder, CEO, Chief Editor, Narratively), Appupen (Comic Creator and Artist, Graphic Novelist for Halalala) and Jessica Walsh (Designer, Art Director at Sagmeister and Walsh) along with a panel of top experts, heads of top institutions and thought leaders to pave India’s future. The deadline for sending applications is December 7 and the winners would be announced by mid January, 2016.
