Maruti Baleno RS concept features at Auto Expo 2016
Maruti Suzuki India Limited, leading automakers in India have unveiled a sportier version of Maruti Baleno premium hatchback, called Maruti Baleno RS concept at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo being held in Greater Noida.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, leading automakers in India have unveiled a sportier version of Maruti Baleno premium hatchback, called Maruti Baleno RS concept at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo being held in Greater Noida.
Maruti Baleno RS concept is powered by a new 1.0 liter BoosterJet turbo petrol engine that was seen earlier in the iK-2 concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This engine is capable of 112 bhp peak power and 175 Nm peak torque. The concept is built on Maruti Suzuki’s new generation platform, which is not only lighter but is also more rigid. The launch of production spec Baleno RS is expected to take place during the festive season.
Existing Maruti Suzuki Baleno on sale in India, is powered by two engine options to include a 1.2 liter K Series petrol engine offering 84 bhp power and 114 Nm torque and a 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel engine offering 74 bhp power and 190 Nm torque. The engines get mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic.
