Suzuki Ertiga ASEAN NCAP test results
Both cars scored only 2-star safety rating in the Child Occupant Protection tests.
The Honda City rival scored 14.56 points out of a maximum of 16 points when it comes to adult occupant protection. The sedan could only manage to achieve 37% of compliance for child occupant protection. In comparison, the Ertiga scored 12.39 out of 16 in AOP tests and achieved 33% compliance in COP tests.
In addition to airbags and ABS with EBD, the duo is also equipped with pre-tensioner, seat-belt load limiter and seat-belt reminder for the driver as standard fitments. The India-spec Ciaz and Ertiga are equipped similarly.
The Suzuki Ciaz and Ertiga for the ASEAN market are available in petrol avatars. The sedan is powered by 1.4- or 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engines while the MPV is offered only with a 1.4-litre unit. The detailed test reports can be found below the gallery.
