The car will be offered in two engine options of 85PS and 110PS at Rs 9.74 lakh and Rs 10.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively, informed a press release.
The car has largely remain unaltered barring ‘25 new features’ that Renault claims to have introduced.
On the occasion, Renault India CEO and MD, Sumit Sawhney said that these changes on the exterior and interior will help enhance the Lodgy’s value proposition and appeal.
“We will continue to engage customers with this segment defining product and Lodgy will play a significant role in our growth plans in India, along with the other volume drivers,” he added.
Renault will offer the Lodgy World Edition in four colours, namely, Fiery Red, Royal Orchid, Pearl White, and Moonlight Silver.
On the outside, the new Renault Lodgy Sports Edition gets a jewel-studded front grille, fog-lamps with chrome satin garnish, two-tone aerodynamic bumper, black wheel-arch cladding, R15 Nepta finish alloy wheels, and a 'World Edition' badge.
Other features include body graphics, dual-tone roof rails with chrome satin finish, printed matte and textured B, C pillar stripping and a rear spoiler.
The car also gets a few nips and tucks inside the cabin. Glossy black foam steering wheel with two-tone World Edition badge and instrument cluster with anodised orange finish centre ring lead the line, added the release.
Under the hood, the car will continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in two states of tune.
Transmission duties will be carried out by a 6-speed manual in the 110PS variant while the 85PS sibling will come with a 5-speed manual.
