PSI to hold meet on pre-cast structures

Hyderabad: The Pre-Engineered Structures Society of India (PSI) is organising PEPSCON-2015, a national convention on pre-engineered and pre-cast construction structures, at Vijayawada from March 6. This two-day event will evaluate latest trends in the field of pre-engineered and pre-cast structures and formulate processes to bring in cost effective and quality structures.

“The event will attract large participation from architects, construction companies, builders, consulting engineers, departments, building materials companies, pre-cast & building products companies, academic & research experts along with experienced professionals from most parts of the country,” PSI said. Emphasis of this event is to highlight major developments in the field of precast construction catering to residential and industrial sectors along with the developments in infrastructure sector, it added.

This conference is expected to lead to formation of working committees to bring out manuals on the application of emerging technologies in the pre-engineered construction technology.

Several industry majors such as Kirby, PEBS Pennar, Jindal Group, Pre-CA, Termage, VME Pre-cast, Elematic and Tech-CORE are likely to take part in the event which will be held at K L University, Vijayawada.
